Ingredients

  • 3 medium avocados
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 cup chopped green onion
  • 2 cans black olives, chopped
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 package taco seasoning
  • 2 cans bean dip
  • 3 tomatoes, seeded and chopped
  • Shredded sharp Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Pit and mash the avocados.
  2. Add lemon juice, salt, and pepper to the mashed avocados and combine.
  3. Mix sour cream, mayonnaise, and taco seasoning to make the sour cream mixture.
  4. Spread bean dip in the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch shallow pan.
  5. Spread the avocado mixture over the bean dip.
  6. Spread the sour cream mixture over the avocado layer.
  7. Sprinkle chopped green onion on top.
  8. Add chopped tomatoes and black olives as the next layer.
  9. Top with shredded Cheddar cheese.
  10. The dip can be made the day before serving.
