Ingredients

  • 1 c. margarine, softened
  • 1/2 c. powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 1/4 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 c. chopped walnuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Mix thoroughly butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla.
  3. Work in flour, salt, and chopped walnuts until dough holds together.
  4. Shape dough into 1-inch balls and place on an ungreased cookie sheet.
  5. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until set, but not brown.
  6. While warm, roll cookies in powdered sugar.
  7. Cool the cookies and roll in powdered sugar again.
