Ingredients

  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 3/4 small head shredded cabbage
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • Velveeta, shredded

Instructions

  1. Double the recipe and freeze any extra portions for later use.
  2. In a skillet, cook the hamburger until browned.
  3. Add the finely chopped onion and cook until translucent.
  4. Stir in the shredded cabbage, season with salt and pepper, and cook until cabbage is tender.
  5. Layer the cooked mixture in a baking dish, top with shredded Velveeta cheese.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) until cheese is melted and bubbly, about 20 minutes.
