Sweet and crunchy peanut-popcorn balls combine caramelized sugar, creamy peanut butter, and salted peanuts, making a delightful snack perfect for parties, kids, or movie nights.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup corn syrup
  • 2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
  • 4 cups popped popcorn
  • 1/2 cup salted peanuts

Instructions

  1. Mix brown sugar, corn syrup, peanut butter, and salt in a large microwavable bowl.
  2. Microwave, uncovered, on High for 1 minute and 30 seconds or until the mixture begins to bubble.
  3. Stir the mixture well.
  4. Stir in the popped popcorn and salted peanuts until well coated.
  5. Let stand for 5 minutes.
  6. Shape the mixture firmly into four 3-inch balls with hands dipped in cold water.
  7. Place the balls on waxed paper.
  8. Let stand about 30 minutes or until completely cool.
  9. Wrap each ball in plastic wrap.
