Ingredients

  • 3 cups sliced cucumbers
  • 1 cup sliced onions
  • 1 cup sliced green pepper
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon celery salt
  • 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard seed
  • 1 cup sugar

Instructions

  1. Mix together sliced cucumbers, onions, green pepper, salt, celery salt, turmeric, dry mustard seed, and sugar in a microwave-safe bowl.
  2. Cover with Saran Wrap.
  3. Cook on High for 3 1/2 minutes.
  4. Stir the mixture and cook on High for another 3 1/2 minutes.
  5. Stir again, recover, and let cool.
  6. Store in the refrigerator.
