Ingredients

  • 4 qt. ground beef
  • 6 c. brown sugar
  • 1 qt. sour cherries
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 tsp. allspice
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 4 qt. cooked apples
  • 1 pt. wine

Instructions

  1. Cook ground beef until soft.
  2. Add brown sugar, wine, spices, and cooked apples, then cook for about 2 hours.
  3. Add sour cherries.
  4. Bring mixture to a full boil. Can be frozen or canned.
