Ingredients

  • 1 box mincemeat
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 package dates
  • 1 package candied yellow pineapple
  • 1 package candied cherries
  • 1 cup nuts
  • 1 can Eagle Brand milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon soda
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup flour

Instructions

  1. Cook mincemeat in water for 1 minute.
  2. Combine all remaining ingredients in a mixing bowl.
  3. Pour the cooked mincemeat mixture over the other ingredients.
  4. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased and floured baking pan.
  6. Bake at 250°F (120°C) for about an hour or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out dry.
