Mincemeat Turnovers
Delightful mincemeat turnovers feature flaky pastry filled with spiced mincemeat, perfect for festive gatherings or as a sweet snack with tea or coffee.

Instructions
- Combine cream cheese with softened butter until smooth.
- Stir in flour to form a dough.
- Cover and chill the dough for 1 hour.
- Roll out on a lightly floured surface to 1/8 inch thickness.
- Cut the dough into 2-inch rounds.
- Drop about 2 teaspoons of mincemeat onto the center of each round.
- Brush a little beaten egg around half of each round's edge.
- Fold the dough over the filling and seal the edges.
- Arrange the turnovers on an ungreased baking sheet and chill for 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Brush turnovers lightly with melted butter.
- Bake for 10 to 15 minutes until golden.
- Cool completely before storing.
