Ingredients

  • 1 lb. sausage (Bob Evans)
  • 1 lb. Velveeta cheese
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 1 tsp. red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1 loaf cocktail rye bread

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef and sausage in a skillet; drain excess fat.
  2. Combine Velveeta cheese, oregano, red pepper flakes, and garlic salt in a bowl; mix well into the cooked meats.
  3. Spoon the meat and cheese mixture onto slices of cocktail rye bread.
  4. Place the topped bread on a baking sheet and bake at 350°F until the bread is golden brown and the meat mixture is heated through.
