Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter or margarine
  • 12 oz chocolate chips
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup finely chopped walnuts

Instructions

  1. Line 72 mini muffin tins with baking cups or arrange baking cups on cookie sheets.
  2. Melt butter in a 3-quart saucepan over medium heat.
  3. Add chocolate chips; stir until melted.
  4. Remove from heat.
  5. Stir in sugar and vanilla.
  6. Add eggs; stir briskly.
  7. Gradually stir in flour, then add chopped walnuts.
  8. Fill baking cups three-quarters full.
  9. Bake for 22 to 24 minutes at 350°F.
