Ingredients

  • 4 cups milk
  • 1 egg, well beaten
  • 1 package (4 servings) Jell-O vanilla flavored pudding and pie filling
  • 1 cup Minute original rice
  • 1/4 cup raisins (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Gradually stir milk and egg into pudding mix in a saucepan.
  2. Add rice and raisins.
  3. Stir over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil.
  4. Cool for 5 minutes, stirring twice.
  5. Pour into dessert dishes or a serving bowl.
  6. Sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg; serve warm.
  7. For chilled pudding, place plastic wrap or wax paper on surface of hot pudding.
  8. Refrigerate about 1 hour.
  9. Stir before serving.
  10. Sprinkle with nutmeg and cinnamon before serving.
