Mississippi Pine Cone

Ingredients

  • 2 (8 oz.) cream cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. mayonnaise
  • 2 ??? green onion
  • 1 (6 oz.) can smoked almonds
  • gourmet seasoning to taste or salt

Instructions

  1. Soften cream cheese at room temperature.
  2. Add remaining ingredients except almonds.
  3. Place mixture on pretty dish and shape like a pine cone in center of dish.
  4. Begin at large end with the almonds, placing side by side and sticking up, looking like "pine burrs."
  5. Garnish with twig of pine needles from a real pine tree. If made the night before, do not place almonds until ready to serve.
  6. Place crackers around cone.
