Rich, chocolatey mocha bourbon balls combine the flavors of coffee, bourbon, and pecans for a decadent treat perfect for parties or indulgent snacking.

Ingredients

  • 12 (1 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate squares
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup bourbon
  • 1 tablespoon instant coffee granules
  • 2 cups ground pecans
  • 3/4 cup chocolate wafer crumbs

Instructions

  1. Combine semi-sweet chocolate, butter, and sugar in the top of a double boiler. Bring water to a boil.
  2. Reduce heat to low and cook until chocolate and butter melt.
  3. Remove from heat; stir in whipping cream, bourbon, instant coffee granules, and one cup of ground pecans.
  4. Cover and refrigerate until mixture is firm.
  5. Shape into small balls and roll in remaining ground pecans or chocolate wafer crumbs as desired.
