Ingredients

  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 4 oz. cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 16 oz. Pepperidge Farm sandwich bread
  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1 cup sugar

Instructions

  1. Cut the crusts off the bread slices.
  2. With a rolling pin, roll out each bread slice very thin.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whip together the cream cheese, 1/2 cup sugar, and egg yolks until smooth.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture onto each bread slice.
  5. Gently roll up each bread slice like a jelly roll.
  6. Melt the butter in a skillet or microwave.
  7. In a small bowl, mix 1 cup sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  8. Dip each rolled bread into the melted butter, ensuring it is coated.
  9. Roll the buttered bread in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  10. Place the coated rolls in a 9 x 13-inch glass dish.
  11. Freeze the dish for at least 4 hours.
  12. Take out of the freezer 30 minutes before baking.
  13. Bake at 400°F for 25 minutes until golden.
