Ingredients

  • 1 c. molasses
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/2 bowl flour

Instructions

  1. Add molasses, sugar, baking soda, buttermilk, salt, oil, cinnamon, and nutmeg to a mixing bowl.
  2. Mix the ingredients together until well combined.
  3. Gradually add the flour and mix until a dough forms.
  4. Roll out the dough into thin biscuits.
  5. Place on a baking sheet and bake at 350°F for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
