Ingredients

  • 2 lb. lean beef
  • 1 (1 lb.) can whole tomatoes
  • 2 small cans tomato paste
  • 2 short cans tomato sauce
  • fresh mushrooms
  • 1 medium onion
  • green pepper (medium)
  • oregano

Instructions

  1. Brown beef with onion, green pepper, and mushrooms.
  2. Drain grease.
  3. Add tomato paste and spices; brown together.
  4. Add canned tomatoes, tomato sauce, and tomato paste; bring to a boil.
  5. Cover and reduce heat to a simmer.
  6. Cook for up to 4 hours or as long as desired.
