Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 1 Tbsp water
  • dash of pepper
  • 5 beef cube steaks
  • 1 cup spaghetti sauce
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup finely crushed crumbs
  • 1/4 cup oil

Instructions

  1. Beat together egg, water, and pepper.
  2. Combine crushed crumbs and half of the Parmesan cheese.
  3. Dip steaks in egg mixture, then in the crumb mixture.
  4. In a skillet, brown steaks in hot oil.
  5. Drain steaks on paper toweling.
  6. Arrange steaks in a 10 x 6 x 1½-inch baking dish.
  7. Cover with spaghetti sauce and sprinkle with remaining Parmesan cheese.
  8. Bake in a 325°F oven for 20 minutes.
