Ingredients

  • 1 c. cooking oil
  • 1 1/2 to 2 c. sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1/2 to 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. allspice
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. chopped cooked prunes
  • 1 c. chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Combine oil, sugar and eggs.
  2. Add dry ingredients and mix. Add remaining ingredients; blend thoroughly.
  3. Bake in tube pan for 40 to 60 minutes at 350°.
