Ingredients

  • 1 lb. sweet Italian sausage
  • 2 cups celery, 1/2-inch pieces
  • 2 cups zucchini, cut
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 2 cans stewed tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon basil
  • 2 green peppers

Instructions

  1. Fry and drain the Italian sausage, then add the celery and cook for 10 minutes.
  2. Add the chopped zucchini, onions, stewed tomatoes, sugar, oregano, garlic powder, and basil. Cook for 20 minutes.
  3. Add the chopped green peppers and cook for an additional 10 minutes.
  4. Serve the soup with garlic bread and Parmesan cheese.
