Ingredients

  • 1 qt. warm milk
  • 1/2 c. Crisco
  • 7 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 pkg. dry yeast

Instructions

  1. Combine flour, soda, baking powder, salt, sugar, and yeast in a large bowl.
  2. Add warm milk and Crisco, , , , 1/2 1/
  3. Beat until 2 , 3 , 4 5 .
  4. Transfer the batter into a gallon jar, seal loosely with a lid so it can breathe.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before using.
