Instructions
- Cook the mostaccioli according to package directions.
- During the last 2 minutes of cooking, add the asparagus tips to the boiling water.
- Drain the pasta and asparagus.
- Rinse with cold water to cool quickly.
- In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, Italian dressing, balsamic or red wine vinegar.
- Add red pepper strips, sliced zucchini, diced red onion, and chopped basil.
- Combine the cooked pasta and vegetables with the dressing mixture.
