Ingredients

  • 1 unbaked 9 or 10-inch pastry shell
  • 10 oz. frozen broccoli
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 pint cream or half and half
  • 1 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Cook frozen broccoli as directed on the package and drain well.
  3. In a bowl, beat the eggs with cream or half and half, then stir in half of the shredded mozzarella cheese.
  4. Add the cooked broccoli to the egg mixture and combine.
  5. Pour the mixture into the unbaked pastry shell.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is raised.
  8. Serve promptly before the cheese flattens.
