Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Beat sugar and eggs; add butter and beat a little longer.
- Add flour, baking powder and salt.
- Fold in dates and nuts.
- Line a 15 x 10-inch cookie sheet with waxed paper.
- Pour mixture into cookie sheet and spread evenly.
- Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
- Cut into squares with sharp knife while still lukewarm.
- Sprinkle with 10x powdered sugar before serving.
