Ingredients

  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 1 can tomato juice
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 c. chopped onions
  • 1 c. carrots, fresh sliced
  • 1 1/2 c. potatoes, sliced
  • celery stick

Instructions

  1. Fry the hamburger until browned.
  2. Add the tomato juice, sugar, salt, and pepper to the cooked hamburger.
  3. Stir in the chopped onions, sliced carrots, and sliced potatoes.
  4. Cook over low fire for 1 hour or until vegetables are tender.
  5. Add the celery stick last and cook for a few more minutes.
