Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup Muscadine sauce
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

Instructions

  1. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Add eggs, beating in one at a time.
  3. Sift dry ingredients together and add alternately with milk and Muscadine sauce.
  4. Stir in chopped pecans.
  5. Pour batter into a greased and floured loaf pan.
  6. Bake at 325°F (163°C) for 50 to 60 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center tests clean.
