- Mix cream cheese and butter together thoroughly.
- Add flour and mix well until the dough is soft and creamy.
- Chill the dough well, preferably for a day or two, wrapped tightly.
- Roll the dough to 1/8-inch thickness on a lightly floured surface.
- Cut the dough with a 2-inch to 3-inch biscuit cutter.
- Place approximately a teaspoon of mushroom filling in the center of each cut-out.
- Fold the dough over the filling and press the edges together with a fork.
- Prick the top crusts to allow steam to escape.
- Place the pastries on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake until lightly browned, about 10 to 15 minutes.
