My Bean Salad
Ingredients
- 2 cans green beans, drained ⓘ
- 2 cans wax beans, drained
- 2 cans kidney beans, drained ⓘ
- 1 can lima beans (green), drained ⓘ
- 1 can chickpeas, drained ⓘ
- 1 large onion (white), sliced in rings ⓘ
- 1 medium green pepper, chopped
- 1 medium red pepper, chopped or 1 small jar pimentos ⓘ
- 1 c. chopped celery ⓘ
- 1/2 c. Wesson oil ⓘ
- 2 c. vinegar ⓘ
- 1 3/4 c. sugar ⓘ
Instructions
- Mix all beans with celery.
- Mix oil, vinegar and sugar together until sugar dissolves, then pour over vegetables.
- Keep in tightly covered container in refrigerator.
- Will keep for weeks.
- Good for picnics.
