Ingredients

  • 3 cups white cornmeal
  • 1 to 1-1/2 cups flour (self rising)
  • 1 Tbsp salt
  • 1 Tbsp baking powder
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup buttermilk

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients.
  2. Pour into a hot greased pan and cook at 450 until done and brown.
