My Dump Cake

A warm, fruity dump cake featuring pineapple and cherry filling topped with cake mix and nuts, perfect for easy dessert cravings and gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 16 oz. can crushed pineapple
  • 21 oz. can cherry pie filling
  • 18 oz. yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup margarine

Instructions

  1. Grease a 9 x 13-inch ovenproof dish.
  2. Drain the crushed pineapple and pour it into the dish, swirling to fill all corners.
  3. Spread the cherry pie filling evenly over the pineapple.
  4. Sprinkle the yellow cake mix over the cherry filling.
  5. Sprinkle chopped pecans on top of the cake mix.
  6. Cut margarine into small pats and lay them over the top of the mixture.
  7. Bake in a preheated 350°F oven for 1 hour or until bubbly and golden.
