  • 3/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (10 oz.) can enchilada sauce
  • 1 can water
  • 1 pound cheddar cheese, grated
  • 12 (or 8) corn or flour tortillas

Instructions

  1. Brown hamburger meat with chopped onion in a large skillet; add liquid ingredients.
  2. Bring to a boil; remove from heat.
  3. In an ungreased large pan, add a layer of meat mixture, then a layer of cut tortillas, using all of the tortillas.
  4. Add a layer of grated cheddar cheese on top.
  5. Repeat the layers as above, ending with a layer of cheese on top.
  6. Bake until hot and bubbly.
  7. Serve with a green salad.
