Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 large garlic clove, pressed
  • 1 can potato soup
  • 1 (15 oz.) can chopped clams
  • 1 small bay leaf
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 1 tablespoon white wine Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons green Tabasco sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon margarine
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery seed

Instructions

  1. Saute chopped onion in 2 tablespoons olive oil until translucent.
  2. Stir in pressed garlic and cook for another minute.
  3. Add the can of potato soup, chopped clams with juice, bay leaf, dried parsley, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco sauce, margarine, and celery seed.
  4. Using the soup can, add clam juice and fill with milk, then pour into the pot.
  5. Heat on low until flavors meld, but do not boil.
