Ingredients

  • 3/4 to 1 lb sirloin or round steak
  • 1 to 2 Tbsp oil
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 can tomatoes
  • 1 can undiluted tomato soup
  • flour with seasoning
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Slice the beef into strips.
  2. Dredge the beef strips in seasoned flour.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet and brown the beef slices.
  4. Add chopped onions and sauté until soft.
  5. Chop the canned tomatoes and add them to the beef along with the juice.
  6. Stir in the undiluted tomato soup.
  7. Simmer the mixture for 10 to 15 minutes until flavors meld.
