Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup white syrup
  • 1/2 tablespoon vinegar
  • margarine, size of hickory nut

Instructions

  1. Combine sugar, water, white syrup, vinegar, and margarine in a pan.
  2. Stir constantly while bringing to a boil.
  3. Cook until the mixture reaches the soft ball stage.
  4. Remove from heat and add a pinch of baking soda.
  5. Pour the hot mixture over approximately 4 quarts of popped popcorn.
  6. Mix well and make into balls.
