Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. yellow cornmeal
  • 2 c. water
  • 2 c. milk
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 stick butter

Instructions

  1. Add salt, sugar, and butter to water; bring to a full boil.
  2. Stir in cold milk.
  3. In another bowl, add baking powder to eggs and beat well.
  4. Add the egg mixture to the cornmeal and stir well.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
  6. Bake for about 30 minutes at 400°F.
