Ingredients

  • 1 lb. pinto or white beans
  • 10 dashes Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp. garlic
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 6 slices bacon, cut up

Instructions

  1. Soak beans overnight.
  2. Drain and cook beans until tender.
  3. While beans are cooking, add all other ingredients including Worcestershire sauce, chopped onion, tomato sauce, garlic, chopped green pepper, and sliced bacon.
  4. Cook over medium heat until flavors meld and beans are tender.
