- Soak the bread in half of the milk.
- Fry the chopped onion in 1 tablespoon of margarine until translucent.
- Mix curry powder, sugar, salt, and lemon juice, then add to the hamburger.
- Add the soaked bread, fried onions, chopped almonds, and one egg to the hamburger mixture.
- Mix well and place into a well-greased dish.
- Whisk the remaining two eggs and the rest of the milk together.
- Season with salt and pepper, then pour over the hamburger mixture.
- Arrange sliced lemons on top and add the rest of the melted margarine.
- Bake for 45 minutes at 350°F in a dish of water.
