- Butter the bread and cut off the crusts.
- Shred the cheese.
- Place 3 slices of bread in the bottom of a greased, deep casserole dish.
- Sprinkle half of the shredded cheese over the bread.
- Repeat with the remaining 3 slices of bread and the rest of the grated cheese.
- In a blender, combine milk, eggs, salt, and dry mustard.
- Blend until well mixed.
- Pour the liquid mixture over the bread and cheese in the casserole dish.
- Let stand in the refrigerator overnight.
