- Spread the batter evenly on the prepared pan.
- Bake in a 375°F (190°C) oven for 13 minutes.
- While hot, invert the cake onto a sheet of waxed paper sprinkled with powdered sugar.
- Remove the baking paper from the cake surface.
- Cut off any hard edges of the cake.
- Spread jelly over the surface and carefully roll the cake.
