Ingredients

  • 1 can cream-style corn
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup salad oil
  • 1 cup yellow corn meal
  • 1 cup chopped green chiles
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups grated Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl.
  2. Pour the batter into a lightly greased shallow pan (9-inch square or larger).
  3. Bake uncovered at 400°F (200°C) for about 45 minutes or until the cornbread is firm and golden brown.
