Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground round
  • 1 large minced onion
  • 1 large chopped green pepper
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 small can tomato sauce
  • 1 (10.5 oz.) can chili beef soup
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 1/2 cups instant rice
  • grated Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Brown ground round, minced onion, and chopped green pepper in a skillet.
  2. Add tomato sauce, chili beef soup, water, and instant rice to the skillet.
  3. Pour the mixture into a casserole dish.
  4. Top with grated Cheddar cheese to cover the surface.
  5. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
