Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 cups confectioners sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup cocoa
  • 1/2 cup butter or oleo, cut into pieces
  • 1 cup candy coated chocolate pieces

Instructions

  1. In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine confectioners sugar, salt, and cocoa; stir until well blended.
  2. Drop butter into the sugar mixture. Microwave on High for 30 seconds or until butter melts.
  3. Add milk and stir until smooth.
  4. Microwave on High for 1 minute longer.
  5. Stir in vanilla extract and candy coated chocolate pieces.
  6. Pour into a buttered 8-inch square pan. Chill until firm, about 1 hour.
  7. Cut into 1-inch squares.
  8. Store in an airtight container.
