Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. egg noodles
  • 1/2 pt. sour cream
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 3/4 lb. cottage cheese
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 to 4 apples

Instructions

  1. Cook noodles in boiling water as directed on the package.
  2. Beat egg whites until stiff.
  3. Beat egg yolks with sour cream, cottage cheese, sugar, vanilla, and pepper.
  4. Fold in cooked noodles into the egg yolk mixture.
  5. Gently fold in beaten egg whites.
  6. Add sliced apples rolled in sugar and cinnamon on top.
  7. Bake at 400°F for 45 minutes in a greased 13 x 9-inch pan, uncovered.
