Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped fine
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 cup catsup
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tsp. vinegar
  • 2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans
  • 2 small cans pork and beans
  • 1 large can chunk pineapple

Instructions

  1. Mix ground beef, chopped onion, and salt.
  2. Roll the meat mixture into small balls.
  3. Fry the meatballs in oil until browned.
  4. Add catsup, water, brown sugar, vinegar, and dry mustard to the meatballs.
  5. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  6. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
  7. In a large casserole dish, combine both types of beans and pineapple.
  8. Add the cooked meatballs and 1/2 cup of pineapple to the casserole.
  9. Bake uncovered at 375°F for 45 minutes.
