- Heat the butter and milk to melt butter.
- Cool to lukewarm. Soften the yeast in the warm water. Stir in sugar, salt, raisins, cherries, almonds, egg and the milk mixture. Gradually add the flour to form a stiff dough, beating well after each addition. Let rise, then bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.
