Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb butter
  • 2 c flour
  • 2 c crushed walnuts
  • 5 Tbsp sugar
  • 2 Tbsp vanilla
  • 1 Tbsp water
  • dash of salt

Instructions

  1. Cream the butter until smooth.
  2. Add sugar, vanilla, and water to the creamed butter and mix well.
  3. Stir in the flour and salt until combined.
  4. Add the crushed walnuts and mix thoroughly.
  5. Shape the mixture into bite-sized balls.
  6. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet.
  7. Bake at 325°F (163°C) for 8 to 10 minutes.
  8. Allow the nut balls to cool, then roll them in powdered sugar.
