Ingredients

  • 8 oz. grated Cheddar cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • crushed walnuts
  • 3 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Bring the cheeses to room temperature.
  2. Mix the grated Cheddar, cream cheese, butter, and garlic powder with an electric mixer until well combined.
  3. Chill the mixture for about 3 hours to firm up.
  4. Shape the chilled mixture into a ball.
  5. Roll the cheese ball in crushed walnuts to coat evenly.
  6. Serve as a spread for crackers or with your favorite accompaniments.
