Ingredients

  • 8 small bananas
  • 8 oz. dark chocolate
  • 3 Tbsp. vegetable shortening
  • 1 cup coarsely chopped roasted walnuts

Instructions

  1. Insert wooden skewers into the bananas, cutting off sharp ends.
  2. Melt the dark chocolate with vegetable shortening until smooth.
  3. Dip each banana into the melted chocolate, coating evenly.
  4. Place the coated bananas on a parchment-lined tray.
  5. Sprinkle coarsely chopped roasted walnuts and macadamia nuts over the chocolate coating.
  6. Allow the chocolate to set at room temperature or refrigerate until firm.
