Ingredients

  • 1 box Duncan Heinz yellow butter cake
  • 1 stick melted butter
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
  • 3/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 2 (8 oz.) packages cream cheese

Instructions

  1. Mix the cake mix, 3/4 cup chopped pecans, and melted butter until well combined.
  2. Press the mixture evenly into a greased and floured 9x13-inch pan.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat softened cream cheese and brown sugar until smooth.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the pressed cake mixture.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining 3/4 cup chopped pecans on top.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes.
  7. Cool, refrigerate, and enjoy.
