Ingredients

  • 1 can sliced peaches
  • 1 1/4 cups sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 3/4 cup margarine

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Put melted margarine evenly in the bottom of a long glass baking dish.
  3. Sprinkle brown sugar over the margarine.
  4. Add chopped walnuts over the brown sugar.
  5. Pour sliced peaches over the walnuts and brown sugar layer.
  6. Mix flour, sugar, and milk to make the batter.
  7. Pour the batter evenly over the peaches.
  8. Bake for approximately 35 to 45 minutes until golden and bubbly.
