Ingredients

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/3 cup cider or white wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 teaspoon celery salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 head cabbage (about 2 lb.), chopped
  • 2 carrots, shredded
  • 1 small onion, minced

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, stir mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, celery salt, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Add chopped cabbage, shredded carrots, and minced onion.
  3. Toss gently to coat the vegetables evenly with the dressing.
  4. Chill covered for at least 1 hour.
  5. Toss gently before serving.
